Model 100 value?
« on: June 07, 2004, 04:46:13 PM »
I have located a Winchester model 100 semi-auto in 284 cal.  As far as the condition of the rifle it is about 90% (looks mint) the rifle is for sale at a local sporting goods store, that stands behind the authenticity and grade of the guns they sell.  This particular gun was made in 1967.  What can i expect to pay?  Don't want to overpay.

:D
I have seen Winchester Model 100 rifles for sale in pawn shops for as little as $359 (yep, that was the price), and some are for sale at gunshows with the original box for $650-$750. These are all in 90 percent or better. I have seen very used ones for sale at around $250. I live in the midwest, perhaps prices will vary in your area.

The store that were i found this model-100 might stand behind what they sell, but they want $1000.00 for there rifle.  I guess you can ask what you want, if there is a sucker out there who will fork out the dough. :)

I have been looking far and wide for a 100 in .284.  I have found them from 650.00 to 1200.00, just not prepared to pay that price for one.
