Ike, I thought about suggesting Ed might leave you in charge but that would be like leaving the Rat in charge of the Cheese.

Hope Ed has a good vacation.

When you getting another new barrel?

Not sure if this is the place for this, but I recently purchased 2 barrels from Ed and was pleased with the service.
I decided I wanted a 22 LR Match and a 44 mag barrel, and I wanted them in the old-school 10" length.  A quick email to Ed followed by a quick phone call, and next thing I know they're in my mailbox.
Factory sealed, and quick as you please.

No more new barrels for me for awhile Mike till I find time to shoot the one I got in a couple weeks ago that I special ordered from the Fox Ridge Custom Shop and picked up at the last gun show while helping Ed run his tables.....it's still sitting here unopened in the box.

The new barrel is a 14 3/4"" heavy matte blue Encore barrel chambered in 300 Savage and if it shoots as well as the 14 3/4" .284 Winchester Encore barrel that I got from the Custom Shop a couple months back I'll be one happy camper.

Fast service and excellent quality I sure can't complain. I now an the proud owner of a brand new sealed boxed(but not for long) TCA 6.5" 9mm shorty barrel. since I have about 8 or 9000 rounds of 9mm once I get some range time in i can shoot some centerfire alonf with the rimfire. Neat new barrel and the grip are beautful. I love them. Many thanks to Ed yet again.
