I recieved my first grandchild (a seven pound girl) on 4-29. I Think I Will Buy Her A Lady Smith!  :grin:

Congratulations, but you're better off giving savings bonds.  Or better yet, starting an education fund.  Ordinary firearms, as opposed to collectibles, seem to keep up with inflation, but just barely.  Oppenheimer funds has some good options that you may want to talk to a financial advisor about.

Questor is correct as far as money goes but if you are sure you want to give her a handgun then a lady smith will be worth more in 21 years from now than it is today especially if NIB. :D    JIM
