The most uninformed, silliest non-breakthrough, wacky "new product" I've seen in a loooooong time.

Someone might wish to let Hornady know that the first shot is the one that counts, and that their "amazing creation" is no faster at all than a sabot in a plastic vial followed by pellets. No tail trimming required. 8)

Does that plastic tail stay in there?  Isn't the center hole in Pyrodex pellets for ignition?

I say make the tail out of metal.  If you miss the deer with the bullet, you might hit him with the tail.

Look at this Knight "Power Stem" breechplug.

Thing is, this might work!

Well...that's a bonehead idea all right.  I don't know of a problem that THAT fixes!  My candidate is:

"February 12, 2004 – Lindon, Utah. White Rifles LLC will shortly begin production on its latest muzzleloader, the White Lightning II."

I think my choice is certainly in the running!

Can't see where there is much to argue about in this thread.

Bet they sell a bunch of them.  I agree it is silly, but in my opinion so are overpriced pellets.  How much harder is it to measure out a charge as opposed to dropping pellets down the tube.  And when hunting the weighed charge is in the tube same as the pellets.  Yep, people love to pay money for the new gizmos that is supposed to make life so much easier for them.  Just my opinionated opinion of course.
