What class to shoot a revolver in??

Is there a class in any organization that allows only revolvers?  Does a 100 meter max, revolver only, class exist in IHMSA or NRA?

It would be fun to stay away from the contenders with rifle scopes.

There is a revolver class.  Of course the revolver can be shot in other classes as well.  My DW .22 regularly gets shot in SB standing, revolver (freestyle), production and unlimited.  I enjoy shooting it, and i shoot it better than my current production gun and don't own a 'real' unlimited SB gun.

Jeremiah

What length barrel does your revolver have?  Are you interested in a silhouette sport where a 6 or 6 5/8" barrel revolver is the maximum allowed and has both a freestyle and a standing category?  Single shots would be in a separate category of course and only straight walled pistol cartridges of 1.30" or less are allowed of at least .30 caliber?  Now your revolver would have to have the sights it came with, you couldn't put some specialty sights on it of course otherwise it might turn into a equipment race.  Does this sound like something you might be intersted in?
