just check out this website. www.firearmsid.com  . go on there, scroll down on right column to Feature video.click on it , when screen pops up hit that little round button with a arrow inside of it. the video will then load, watch it and see what a 13.7 lb rifle fireing a 750 gr bullet can do.It is amazing what 11,000 lbs of energy can do in such a small package.just imagine if that rifle would have hit him square in the face?.Look what it did to that plate glass door.enjoy

I have a high pain tolerance to recoil, maybe to much, when first sighting in the Marlin 450 guidegun, I like to creep close to the scope, not good, after the third shot ,my Friend that was with me was staring at me funny, white as a ghost, then to realize I had warm blood flowing down my face, the scope caught the bridge of my nose a put a good gash, still have the scar;) I drifted that scope forward then no troubles since, but my hat flew off a few times LOL. I think at the time my friend took it worse than me;)
good old raccoon eye day later, yup sooner or later you will get it LOL. Aim small hit small. RAMbo.

RAMbo:  "yup sooner or later you will get it LOL".  No No my friend - there are many of us who watch many of you decorate the bridge of your nose or your eyebrows with those half moon gashes and learn by watching - that's what screwdrivers and allen wrenches at the range are for - moving that scope forward before we join the club.  LOL.  Mikey.

had a friend with me one day at Pheonix Range in edmonton, sighting an old marlin 30as 30-30[ the one canadian tire used to sell with a 4 power scope].i sighted it in and got it shooting 3 shots in an 1 1/4 " at  a 100yds.i figured that was good enough for what i wanted to do.well,my friend who hardly ever has shot a rifle wanted to try it out.i handed it to himand watched him stick his eye right up to the scope.when i tried to tell him to pull his head back,he told me to shut up-he knew what he was doing.he pulled the trigger and dropped the gun just after that.you all know what happened-thats right.one hell of a cresent shaped cut just above his eye right below his eye brow.he was swearing to beat the band and blood was spurting out like crazy.long story short i had to drive him to the hospital to get three stitches.funniest thing i ever saw him do and now when i ask him to come hunting he gives me a dirty look.well,i tried to warn him

One thing I notice is I'm far less tolerant of recoil as I age. I'm 6'2", 210#. I certainly don't feel Sissy or a Wimp. As the march of time continues for me however;  I do ALL of my small game hunting (Ducks, Grouse, Pheasant, Quail, Rabbits & Turkey) with a 20GA. I hunt deer with my old, worn & sure 30/30 Marlin; Elk with my 444 Marlin. Those are my limits & I take just as much game as when in my youth with far more powerful guns.

I had to laugh at the video; just reaffirms my belief that Arabs are ill suited to use firearms. :)
