2 piece vs 1 piece
« on: June 09, 2004, 05:13:51 PM »
I assume that the difference between 1 piece and 2 piece is that the base for  the adjustment knobs is an intrigal part of the scope body or seems to be glued onto the body, is that the difference?  I think the 3200 and the Legend both have what appears to me as a glued on base for the adjustment knobs.  What ever, is this a big deal?  Granted, I have not been able to inspect both scopes "in hand".  I am beginning to settle on the Nikon Buckmaster in 4.5-14x 40 for my 22-250.  I will not be shooting at daylight or sundown.  This is for a target rifle.  Opinons....have at it.

Is there a difference?  YOU BET!  The one piece tubes are far stronger than the two piece.
