:D Just seen this room just had to jump-in
Anyone fished Grand isle La Cisco you got close in G.M.
I moved back to Mo. 4yrs ago from Grand Isle was livin there several yrs
Aug. 2002 was last time I was back make the trip 3 or 4 times a yr.

MAN I'm jonesin' for some serious line pullin' :eek:

Deer seasons windin down here and was sittin and thinkin about the place
this morning so bad I wrote a post on another board like this. :-) and here
I find y'all :-D  :)  :-D  :D

Anyone got any oil-rig stories? I love OFFSHORE !!!! I'll even listen to redfish and specks. I sure miss the place.

 I lived and worked at Bridge Side Marina . lotta buddies with charter services if anyone needs a hook-up. I worked with a bunch of them.It didn't matter if I was catching for myself  :lol:  or teaching someone else how to catch I just loved OFFSHORE !!

BOY I'm happy to see this forum come up !!!!!
I hope we get some saltys in here!!

Smokestak,

I fish Grand Isle in the spring/summer, but I prefer marsh, not offshore.  I will fish along the beach btwn. GI and Fourchon and to East/West Timberlier from time to time, but don't like going offshrore that much.

     how wrong you are--man it rises a good six feet al along the coast all the way to ih10.lotta hills and i'm not talking about the levee's-now there's some hills.
