Just by chance I had a holster laying around that fit a Ruger Single Action 4-5/8" Blackhawk. I've long since sold the Blackhawk. But one day I wanted to carry my S&W 629 Classic 5" on my hip. I have a Kramer that fits my 629 and 625, but it's a high rise, and I paid $85.00 for that thing from Dillon. Found this Uncle Mike's around the house and wanted to see if it would fit these 5" revolvers. That sucker slid right in and snapped behind the hammer, no excess void in the holster at the end of where the barrel is. :grin:
Man I wish I had known this before spending $85.00. I don't even use the Kramer anymore. :x
The size is #7 on back of the Uncle Mike's holster.
Just wanted to let others know before making the mistake I did.
