You should be able to find all the needed info here:

http://www.dcnr.state.al.us/agfd/

As stated no closed season or bag limit but hogs are considered a game animal in Bama UNTIL killed and then they change status to live stock in effect. Without checking I'm not sure if a small game or big game license woud be required but you should be able to find the answer on the site listed.

Be aware that in WMAs you can ONLY hunt hogs using weapons legal for a game season open at the time. On private land you can use any thing you want to take them. No baiting and no night hunting.

Yup nobody said it was easy here. Our laws in regard hogs are kinda backward considering they want them gone. But they are afraid someone might shoot a deer illegally instead of a hog and make it very difficult as a result.

I'm sure on private land some baiting goes on and wouldn't surprise me if some night hunting does too but neither is legal. My kill ration here in Bama is much lower than it is in TX on the trips I've made.
