The moulds will be six cavity. Cost will be $41, subject to change in Lee's prices.  When we get final drawings up, we'll also get an order form up and allow about three weeks to collect orders.

On the one that is a gas check design, have you considered adding a special run of the Lee sizing die for that bullet?  Individually they want $25 for the die as it's not listed as one of their standard sizes.

(Yea, I've said this before) I hope these are the final dimensions.  The gas check is as-measured.  The base is dimensioned to fit the dimensions of Hornady GC's - Lee will probably adjust these (from past experience) and that's OK - they did well.

Note the volume - calculated from CAD, weight from my experience on what MY wheel weight alloy runs (your mileage may vary).

Tom, that's an excellent point and one I had not gotten to. You're right. I'll get in touch with Lee and see if they will do a discount on a run of sizers.

I'm minded to ask for .258. Those who need a larger can readily lap them. How say you?

I like to size DOWN to .002 above groove size.  That would be .260, and if Lee does this one right, it'll be .258; so I'd like to see .259 which would be ok for lubing only.  (Is that convouluted enough?)

I suspect that the .258 would probably be prudent as you could always lap it up.  I would be interested in one just large enough to seat the gascheck.  

My take on the tumble lube groves is you would not want to make them any smaller.

Either way will be fine for my purposes.

Lee just jacked up the price on orders of under a hundred molds to $50. Looks like the delivered cost will be $56 or $57. I'm still game if y'all are.

The good news that they are real reasonable on sizing dies. They'll do a custom run of 25 for $11 and change each. Call it $13 to cover their shipping to me. No shipping to you with a mould 'cause I'm gonna wrap the sizer and the LA in a little bubble wrap and stuff them in the mould box. Same deal on the sizer, tentatively .259. Fifteen orders and I front the rest. Any still left unpaid for when I get the order from Lee are mine and I sell them at a markup.

Put me down for one of the gas check moulds and one of the sizing dies (.259 sound really good to me).  Please let me know when, where and how much to send.

Question:  For that price on the sizing die is Lee sending out the whole kit with the sizing die that includes the plastic catcher and the little bottle of Liquid Alox.  I suspect so, but either way is fine with me.

Tom, it's my understanding that price is for the whole kit, but I ain't doing (and making folks pay for) separate shipping for a plastic bottle that most of us have too many of anyway. I'm gonna strip the goodies out of the plastic case, pad them, and stuff them in the mould box. After the deal is done, anyone who wants the plastic boxes can have some for the shipping.

If it were solely up to me, I'd strip the blocks out of their box, wrap them in bubble wrap and stuff them in a flat rate priority envelope, too, but we've been through this before and some folks want the box which won't fit in the flat rate envelope.

I do like to use the mould box for storage of the mould with handles.  It makes them easier to find in the mould cabinet as it's labeled pretty clear what is inside.

If it's a little extra for shipping of the whole kit, that would be good for me as I keep all my sizing dies together in their plastic containers.  I have a number of moulds that use the same sizing die so I don't store the sizing dies in the mould boxes.  I also have different sizing dies that I sometimes run with same moulds.  Just depends upon what the requirements are that I am making bullets for.

Like I said either way if fine with me, but my preference is to get the plastic container for storage, and if it costs a little more for shipping that's fine with me.
