300 rum loading data
« on: June 15, 2004, 03:10:50 AM »
I would like some info on this load if possible.  I was trying Re25 (88 grains) w/ barnes triple shock 180gr.  It ended up about 1-1/2" group.  Not to good so I called barnes for info.  They told me to seat the bullet .050" off the lands.  I used the same load as before and the group went crazy.  About 5" group at 100 yards.  I would like to stick w/ this bullet if at all possible.  If you shoot a 300 rum, post your pet load here.  Oh yeah, the action is also bedded.

Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.
