 I always loved trapping those little white critters and always love d the time of year one traps them. I've went many a mile through the pristine snow covered wilderness on a pair of snowshoes checking weasel sets and boxes.  Ace

Ray: Occasionally one will get an extra extra large weasel nearly as large as a mink.   Ace

Ray
yesterday it was 83 F or 29 C. In the "dog days" of summer the temp averages around 30 C or so.
The weasel in the picture is about the normal size for around here according to the ones I catch.

I love the big ones when you take the top off the box.  If they weighed 100 lbs I would stay out of the woods.
