My wife Sara and I are proud to announce the birth of our first child.  

Alaina Grace Roberts was born 6/18/04 at 1:56AM.  She is 6lbs 14ozs and is 20 1/2 "'s long...

Mother and baby are doing excellent...Will be coming home Sunday morning.  Oh how the house will change for evermore.

Hey man CONGRATULATIONS!! Good to know both mother and baby are doing well. I remember that feeling of the first newborn. WOW! You are blessed! Get ready to learn the true meaning of sacrifice and if you ain't ready, get ready to learn the true meaning of heartache. Love that girl, give her plenty of hugs all her life (girls have to have this from their daddys or else they look for it elsewhere). Don't sacrifice her to the god of self like so many other parents do. Wake up every morning and number your blessings and work on your marriage and being a good daddy.
Oh yea, find a nice comfortable spot in "the back seat".  :)

Congratulations to you and your wife W_NY Whitetailer!!! The best part of your life is about to begin!!! And for the record lik2hunt was right on the money with his comments, especiallly that part about giving your daughter plenty of hugs. Be her loving father who she can always go to and who is always there for her. You will, with her mother, become her safety net in this crazy world. Raise her in the church and with love, and let me tell you from expeirence, she will grow to fast and soon be out the door and away :( ....<><.... :grin:

WNY. :D .....Congratulations on your blessed event!  Like others have said, daddy's little girl will grow all to quickly......so please, enjoy as much of it as possible... in this busy world we live in.

Our little girl ,youngest of five, just graduated from high school and the 'open house' party was Sat. :grin:  In seven short weeks she is off to college...... and I fear it will be all too quiet while I'm sitting around cleaning my guns. :cry: Will surely take some getting used to.

Thanks for all the congrats gentlemen...It has been an interesting 10 days.  Sara and I are having a great time so far.  Alaina usually feeds at about 11PM, then 4AM and then again around 7:30AM so sleeping has not been a problem.  I was a little worried because of all the horror stories that I had heard at work.  People were saying that we will not be able to sleep any more.  They were wrong.  The little angel is just that.  We are cherishing these moments because you never know when it will change.

Belated congratulations on your daughter!  Enjoy her company and stay involved as you can in her life. My daughter will be 13 next month and those years have flown by too fast. She started shooting with me at age 4 and started hunting with me at 8. I an not certain that she will ever shoot an animal but we have had so many wonderful times together and she is very safe with gun handling. My daughter has 3 22s, 1 shotgun, two rifles and a 357. Keep your baby safe and enjoy the good times!
