Hi Chris
Know exactly what you mean. Graybeard is a great source of information. It is also highly addictive!

Hi Chris welcome to Greybeards. What part of France are you in? My cousin lives in La Turbaule near La Baule on the Atlantic coast in the lower Britainy area, so I've spent some time in France visiting him. I actually miss your topless beaches and think that I'm long over due for a return vist. He is from the States but now owns a restaurant called "Le Sarments" there. Actually in 1996 he was picked one of the top 10 chefs in America so it's actually the food I miss not the beaches. Hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.

Thanks for your welcome.
I live in the center of France "Massif Central". It's a country where is depleupate. My domain is in the middle of woods and i love that. I don't hesitate to make many kilometers for found Colts . The better is in shooting associations i have buyed 3 off my colt ( S.A.A. 7 1/2 third generation like new for only 500 $), i've also found a real dragoon third model 1850.The great problem isn't to found this hangun but to have the permit for. I must belong to the Sport French Federation of shooting.

For me i haved a great car accident there is a few years and that determinate my real way of life. I have 4 americans cars 1 pontiac firebird 1972 HO, one Chevy station wagon 1979, one dodge royal custom H/T 1956 and of course a Jeep V8 1976 that i take for hunting. I've sold all of my french cars and all my bolt actions and i decided to hunt only with lever action guns and single action hanguns.

Since that i'm an other man and all the days i'm happy because i love american people american cars ( the bests) and american guns!!
Now i think that i sold one or two cars for buying 2 horses .

Sincerelly

nice to hear from a frenchman that doesnt hate us.   i know there are a few of you out there; but it seems that we only get to hear from the ones that dislike us.   my dad had an exchange student stay with him that i had a chance to get to know and  he was a very good man.
welcome to graybeard outdoors.   i know you will like it here.
