That firm is one of the premier gunmaker/gunsmithing outfits in the world today. I have no personal knowledege of them but have read numerous articles and net posts about thier firearms. They advertize in the Cowboy Chronicle (SASS publication) on occassion and have been know to support CAS by sponsering matches.
BTW, regarding the price and the reciept: The cost of an action job is not going to increase the price of 99% of the guns out there. Paying for an action job, regardless of who did it, is the owners personal investment in his gun, it rarely adds to resale value because the next owner often has different values concerning what he/she wants in an action job. So often a pard can pick up a real nice gun for less than original price in spite of a "Big Name Action Job".
At least you know the name of the outfit and can track them down to get another...I've got a 75 Remmie that was tuned by someone who was a true artist! Unfortunately I have no way of finding out who did it, the guy I bought the gun from died before he had a chance to search his records for me.
