Where can I BUY BLACK powder in my state?

Hey guys, I'm 18 and I want to start getting into traditional style muzzle loading (except for adjustable sights) and I want to use real BLACK POWDER not pyrodex or any other of that crud that is now pushed on hunters.   I would like to buy it in my state (Ms) from a dealer if I can.

Also for a sidelock (percussion cap) muzzleloader, since I am left-handed do I need the lock on the opposite side of the gun in relation to a right handed gun for safety reasons?

If they are not able to help, I would look in the Yellow Pages under “guns” or “firearms” & make a few calls to inquire as to what’s available or just ask any muzzle loading shooters that you know or come across.

I wouldn’t shoot a right handed muzzleloader in the left hand w/o a pair of safety glasses. Sometimes, the cap can fragment….
