Martin backing down
« on: June 23, 2004, 04:56:42 AM »
In a desperate attempt to undo some of the damage by the multi-billion dollar gun registration program , Martin has graciously offered to ''decriminalise'' the penalties for not going along with his open and unabashed vote buying scheme to convince the coveted urban voters the Liberals are ''doing something'' about crime[ they refuse to pass a law with a mandatory 5 year sentance to be served in it;s entirety before doing time for whatever crime they committed  with the gun]
Even his own committee on reviewing the whole fires registration concluded it was completely ineffective and the only firearms trade that had been diminished was the legal one-the illegal trade in restricted weapons continued anabated.But- Paul Martin, now attempting to play both sides of the fence, refused to admit it was a billion dollar waste of our money, now offers to ''decriminalise'' failure to go along with the Liberal ideological view that no one has a right to have any firearms.
Time to send them back to the farm
