I've only had my 336 for a few months, but got it to start deer hunting, and will hopefully bag a Missouri whitetail this fall. I'm still in the process of developing a handload it likes, I have high hopes for a stiff charge of Varget and a Speer 180 or the Rem 200 Core-Lokt. My rifle shoots the factory 200 into an inch if I do my part, but likes the 150-grain load a lot less. Everyone I've talked to about the 336 has said it either likes the 150 OR the 200, never both, it always prefers one or the other.
My hunting buddy has used his 35 Rem 336 to bag a whitetail every year for the last 12 or so, he has absolute faith in the caliber as long as ranges aren't past 200 yards.
What I'd really love to shoot is a big ugly pig! Barbecued Pork for all!
