rancho cat quivers????????
« on: June 29, 2004, 12:32:16 PM »
I shoot a Martin Prowler solo cam and my quiver was making noise so I took it off and shot it without a quiver, boy did my groups tighten up, and my bow was so quiet. So I was looking at the Rancho cat quivers. I will be hunting elk (rut, spot and stalk) and whitetails (treestands) here in Montana. Anybody got any ideas like them? I have a nice day pack non-typical by crooked horn outfitting can you get just the quivers that could hook on to it?? Thanks Jerry

Jerry,

I have the model with the small pouch on the top, and it works very well.  I use it when I hunt with a recurve.  I like it a lot.

Because it holds the arrows at the nock and tip of the broadhead, you have to have all your arrows the same lenght or they will not hold.  The arrows are a little bit of a trick to put back in the quiver without taking it off.

They have a model that has the same arrow holding system with no pouch and just a single shoulder strap that would work with a pack.

Hope this informaiton is of some help.

They do work good . . . except when you try to put an arrow back in the quiver (when it is on your back).  I hope you are double jointed.
