Had a ball
« on: June 30, 2004, 04:40:31 PM »
Well, finally got to Tn.( Nashville)  :D  Had to make a stop at krystal's (burgers) at seviervlle to get them .That's the first stop I make when I come home . Best burgers I've ever eaten. Called hellacatcher on his cell phone. He give me a call back on mine . Since I just got a cell phone, I was surprised with the ring. It finally dawned on me that my phone was riging. another senior moment.  :-D  We made plans last sat to meet. at the range. Man , the range is top notch( run like the military) sponsored by NRA and TWRA. I was so happy to meet him that I run out of the house, and forgot my targets and my vise to shoot off of. I shot my 45-70 and the .22 . My girl Emily stepped right up and fired the 45-70 too. she liked it. Paul ( hellacatcher)fired it too. I got to shoot his 357 and I can see why everyone loves this caliber. I made a comment I needed to get one then I remembered that it's not available anymore.    Hellacatcher told me to give him a holler when I'm back in town and  beleive me I will. Had a chance to visit anther friend of mine in Dickson Co. I really enjoyed meeting him.  :)
It was great to meet someone that you talk to on the internet. And you couldn't have ask for a better day to shoot either. I saw the group that Paul shot from the 22hornet. Fantastic group. By the way, during gun season in Tn. you can shoot 3 does a day till gun season is over., plus in Ft. Campbell in the archery-only sections you can kill 2 deer a day.         (buck or doe.  Tommy
