Great post and nice pictures. I wish we had hog hunting in Delaware.

Redhawk,

They are a blessing and a curse.  They are a lot of fun to hunt and are good to eat.  However, too many of them can lead to problems.  In a tough acorn year they provide a lot of competiton with turkeys and deer for food.  And they don't know to stay in the woods and not root up pastures, gardens, etc.!

I'm honestly glad that we have them.  I feel like it is my duty to help keep their numbers in check.   :-D
