Has anyone out there built up an ak from one of the kits?  How much is involved in putting one together?  If you have any input sent me a message.

I have a Polish Kit about 1/2 way done,, they are fun to assemble and being the you your self made it is a big plus...

there are a couple web sites that have a whole sections on "Build it Your self" and tons of info there...

the kits are cheap but when you finish the whole gun you will spend anywhere from 250 to 400 + on one..
