What happened to The Hanned Line?

I thought they used to be sponsors on here...I have been trying to find Apache Blue Lube and they are the only folks I have found advertising it, but I haven't been able to get to thier website for a month.  Anybody know where else I can get Apache Blue?  Or a recipe for it?

The Hanned Line went out of business a few months ago...too bad too.

Anyway, it is my understanding that Paco Kelly was the guy who invented Apache Blue and he has a website of his own here: http://www.leverguns.com/contact.htm

You might try contacting him for sales or a recipe.

It's my understanding that Hanned was a marketing organization rather than manufacturing. Most of the stuff they sold should still be available, it's just a matter of finding who is selling it now.

I like using straight wheelweights as I get them for free and I have go through several hundred pounds a year. Between the 4 .45-70s that I feed (I have some friends that hunt with nothing else now) and my .500 Linebaugh, it goes quick. Fortunately one of the friends that I load for owns a tire shop! That is a great swap!

I used to mix 50/50 bees wax and StaLube Lithium grease.

However, Paco's Apache Blue is much more consistant and works better in hot weather.

Since Paco's lube is no longer available, I have been using LBT Blue and am very happy with it. I go through a lot of lube and the sticks are so easy to handle.
