Weaver Grandslam vs 4200 elite

I'm sporterising an old 6.5x55 swedish mauser, putting quite a bit of work into it (new barrel, adjustable trigger+ safety, synth stock, duracoat, bedding etc)

Want a nice scope to top it off. Bought a Zeiss conquest a while back for another gun after following suggestions from you guys and couldn't be happier with it.

My questions are..... The mauser will wind up fairly hefty....

Is the grandslam significantly lighter than the conquest (if both are similar size (ie 3.10X40 grandslam, 2.5-10X40 4200 elite).
 
I'm guessing that the low light performance of the weaver is not quite as good as the 4200 Is there much of a real word difference? would I lose much time at twilight with a grandslam vs a 4200?

Here are some weight of the scopes you are talking about:

Grand Slam 3-10x40                    13oz
Bush. Elite 4200 2.5-10x40           16oz
Zeiss Conq 3-9x40                       15oz
Zeiss Conq 3.5-10x44                  15.8oz


My personal opinion is that Weaver Grand Slams are just as good as the Elite 4200's.  The clarity and brightness is very good.  Actually unbelieveable for the price of the scope.  I would highly recommend one.
