Hornetx60 is correct. The 10 highest shooters in the first round become the postal team and then their scores from the second round are all added together for the state team score. Did this a couple of years ago for the state shoot here. The PA way of selecting the coaches seem fair too although there is no requirement for that. I think I chose the longest running match director and the longest running classified shooter if I remember correctly. The observation that the second round scores are usually lower is good one too. Around 30 targets difference, again, if I'm remembering correctly from when we did it.
