Author Topic: JUST BOUGHT NEW VX-III FOR $200.00! AMAZING! (Read 723 times)

I heard from a buddy of mine that a local sporting good's store was selling Leupold VX-IIIs (yes, 3's) for $200.00 (for the 3.5-10x40mm). The msrp for those scopes is normally about $459.99 (SWFA price, if im not mistaken). I figured they must have marked the prices wrong but gave them a call. Sure enogh, the store nearest to me was selling them for $200.00! HOLY CRAP. So i had them hold one for me. Clearest optics ive ever seen. the adjustment caps are easy to screw off, and the fast-focus eyepiece is a nice feature. Cant wait to mount it on my Tikka t3 (when i buy that). By the way, the place is Academy Sports and Outdoors, so GO THERE! DONT MISS SUCH A GREAT DEAL!

Are they the new VX-III's (#55046) or the old Vari-X III's (#45257)? At that price, you got a H**L of a deal. Good Job!

I'm guessing it's got to be the old models with the Multi-Coat 4 coating, and not the new model with the new coating.

yeah, its the Vari-X III, not the newer one. But for $200.00, ill take it!
It sure was a great buy, and the quality is outstanding.
