Well for me Muzzelloader season starts first, so its gonna be the CVA Mountain Rifle I saved from the rust pit hell it was living in.  .50Cal patched ball sidelock.  But when regular season hits it will depend.  If I have to hunt in shotgun only territory it will be a Remington 870 Express 12 ga.  I put a new Hastings rifled bbl w/cantilever scope mount on it.  Should do just fine.  BUT, if I get to hunt rifle country its gonna be the T/C Encore in .30-06 and my shiny new handloads.

Put me down for a Savage 10 (7mm-08) or a 110 (30-06), decisions, decisions, always decisions. Fortunately I like this kind of decision. Tried out the 140 Corelokt in 7mm-08 and it it very accurate so I may have to do some field testing to verify. Plus the light weight and handiness of the Savage 10 is a real plus. Hopefully the whitetails will co-operate.

Either my Remington M760 in 30-06 or my Ruger M77mkII stain./lam. in 280.  Then again, I could always use my Savage M110E in 243 but I may just take my Ruger SRH in 44 mag or the BH in 41 mag.  Hmm, now I'm undecided.

Lyman Deerstalker with a patched round ball. Then for rifle season I think I will start with my 1951 model 94 in .30-30. If I get lazy, I will sit back and use my sportered 8x57.

M96 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser sporter with either 129gr Hornady interlocks or 160gr Hornady interlocks (both handloads), depending on which shoots better at sight-in time.

Sense it will be Muzzleloading season first, It will be my T/C Renegade 50 cal or my Encore 50 cal. But I will be out before gun season with my Matthews bow. Regular season I will be using my Shiloh Sharps in 45-70 with paper patch bullets and black powder cartridges. It don't get any better than that :)

November 15th will you will find me clutching a Mossberg 500 12 guage with either a 20 inch smoothbore with a wad wizard choke and federal premium buckshot or a 20 in hastings scoped slug barrel depending on the type of cover i'm hunting.   By the 20th i will probably be up in the rifle zone carrying the good old Marlin 336cs in .35 remington.  I can't wait!!

Marlin 1894P  44 Mag.
Winchester Hollow Soft Points  240 Grain

They usually crumble when hit with this setup.  Just hope I don't see them past 150 yards.  I usually cannot see that far where I hunt anyway.

My Ruger M77 7mm Remington Magnum with a Zeiss Conquest 3x-9x 40mm I am going to buy real soon from www.theopticzone.com (it is currently wearing a Nikon Monarch with over 1000 shots on it,and although it holds zero like it did the day I bought it I am retiring it to a good 22 just in case.) as for ammunition I will be using factory loaded 150gr. CORE-LOKTs in my home state of Kentucky or my neighboring state of Tn., but when I hunt larger game I prefer a handloaded 160gr Nosler Partition

I'll be carrying a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in .243.  I bought it last year and carried it after bagging my buck opening morning with my .25-06, but missed on the one opportunity I had to bag a doe.  I am using it on a pronghorn antelope hunt in Wyoming in mid-October, and will use it also for the deer season in Oklahoma where the deer are not so large as they may be in the north.
