Which 9mm do you carry more?

This is poll is meant to give the 9x18 Makarov fans a place to vote so we will know where it stands against the other 9mms. I have had 3-9x18 Maks myself, a RK59,a PA63, and a Bulgarian Mak. So far have had 3-.380s(9x17 Kurz(Short))in a Grendel,a PMK380, and a APK MKII. But those Bersa's sure are nice, may have a fourth one before long. Have had 7-9x19mm Lugers in a PT99,two Witnesses(CZ clone),two Glock 19s,a Vektor CP1(interesting critter),and a Kel-tec P11. To give everyone a fair shake I am putting 9mm Largo,.38 Super,9x21mm(for the Italians) and 9x23mm on the poll too. Now this is for carriable guns so there is no 9mm Win. Mag or other specialty rounds or such. Also I do know that .38 Super/9x23mm/9mm Largo are all pretty much the same catridge but the actual guns have the different caliber names stamped on them.

The .380 P-3AT is my always gun. I own a few other 9mms:
(2) P-11s
(1) KP-95DC
(1) A-75
All in 9x19. The P-11s are car guns, and get a lot of mileage in that capacity. The others pretty much spend all their time in the safe. I have compact .45s (Officer's 1911 & Glock 36) that are just a carryable and pack a bit more punch. I traded away the best 9mm of the lot, Glock 19. Still regret letting that one go!

I’m not a real big fan of the 9mm for self defense but I’ve dabbled with a few here and there. 380 Kurz – Walther PPK/S;  9mm Luger/Para – Portugal BHP, Belgium BHP, SW 5906;  38 Super – SW 686. For a lot of the guns chambered in 9mm I feel the power to weight ratio is a bit off balance. If I am going to carry one of the bigger autos I’d just as soon be carrying a compact size 45. Of those I’ve listed the Walther is the only one I’ve used for carry.

For a long time the Walther was my main carry gun besides a SW 640. I have began to change my theory on CC. In the past I carried a smaller gun for convenience sake, but lately I feel that if I ever need to use a gun to defend myself I want more fire power more along the lines of a 45acp. Instead of carrying a firearm because it’s easier to tote I’d rather be better armed. Also, many of the compact 45s are close to the same dimensions as some of the lighter 9mm’s. This negates the benefit of smaller and lighter usually found in many of the 9mm platforms. This is just an opinion and not meant as a pun to what others choose to carry.
