Took my new .17 HMR sporster doggin for the first time yesterday and was very pleased at the range I could pick the little critters off at. I mounted a Harris bi-pod on it and from a prone position in an alfalfa field hit one after another with that thing.
What I found interesting is that the Hornady v-max bullets I was using didn't splatter them like a center fire round would. Just a clean instant kill.
