Tommy 101 if I am in for a ounce I am in for a pound. Don't need em just in my second or third child hood. If I am sending the 357 off for the 45/70 I am going whole hog. Went to UPs store on my lunch hr and shipped it on its way I mite add there was no problem the clerk acted like she shipped guns or in my case receiver and foram every day. Now to see how long it takes. They said  it should be at the H&R on thur. I know that is alot at one time but at least I can save a little. :-D

Hellacatcher, You have a very understanding wife. I know that your sitting on pins and needles waiting for the barrels. :-D  :-D  I've been practicing with my bow waiting on bow season. I need to take the muzzleloader out to the range just to make sure it's shooting like I want.  :) Just curious though, I'm thinking about coming home after CHRISTmas. Do you know places to deer hunt around ? :D  I would like to go hunting with you if that's possible. My main reason to come home is to hunt. These yahoos here love to hunt using a gun during bow season. poaching  no accounts. And they can't under stand why hunting here is so poor. (duh)                  Tommy

Tommy I think I still have access to a place in Stewart co. I have singed up for a lot of different hunts waiting to see what happens. Last year I had to pull stanby over Christmas but didn't really mind it as my children are grown and gone at least from this house I let the guys with kids stay at home with them. I will have to wait and see what happens as time goes on. :D I findly got my 12 ga slug gun lined out. I must be sick I like shooting the thing shot it standing like I mite have to hunting my buddy said I only stepped back 4 ft I thought it was fun.
About the wife got hitched 34 yrs ago one of us  must do something right she is catching on there are more guns in the closet.

Send em an email, be sure to include your rifle serial number. They usually respond the following business morning, short and to the point, I might add!!

They are slow getting the cards out that they have received for receiver. I send mine USPS Priority Mail with delivery conformation and they usually are received at the factory within 2 days ( I live within 100 miles) but it  usually takes about 2 more weeks to get word from the factory that they have received to gun!! Stand by, I would think your gun will back in your hands within a month!!! Perhaps another 2 weeks if you have been good!!!....<><....

Hellacatcher,
Is that 12 ga. slug gun a H&R/NEF? If it is, you got a lot more shoulder than I got. By the way, I had to break down and buy a new puter. It has windows xp and I'm waiting now so I can install norton correctly. Going to call them here in about 20 min. Emily is getting her stuff ready to move into the dorms at NC State this coming thurs. Would you beleive that they have a course in archery?I bet they have one in guns also. I told her if she could to get it if she can. I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for archery season. I might take the 30-30 to the range one more time to make sure of my mark, just to make sure.

That sounds fine. After the old puter bit the dust, this new is great. I took special measures to make sure this stays virus free as possible. With norton and spy sweeper( from webroot) I might have slowed down the thing a little, but I'm virus free so far. It's a windows XP.  :-D  :-D  :-D
I've hunted close to stewart county, but never in  there. Most of mine has been in Mont. co., Ft Campbell, and a place on hwy 12. Do you know where sycamore creek is? TWRA has some land there, turn on macon hall rd. off hwy 12. Well, getting ready to go to work, and put new brakes on the bycicle for Emily. That will be Em's car for the next semester. I'll get back to you.
