At 25 feet....it should be almost 2 inches high. Remember, your line of sight from the scope is lower at 100-200 yds than what you will see through the bore. IT SHOULD BE HIGH AT 25 FEET, in fact you will probably have to back it off in the other direction. Remember...bore sighting, everything is backwards from shooting. Right is left, up is down etc. If you are adjusting the scope when you are shooting it, if it is hitting left, you adjust the scope to the right. But if you are looking through the bore and you want it to go right, you adjust the scope left. It's easy to get mixed up bore sighting.
Take a peice of plywood and some printer paper to the range. Draw a circle the size of a quarter, and take 1 shot at 25 feet to see where it is hitting. If you are within a few inches on the paper, then move it out to 25 yds. Now Zero the scope and set it ONE INCH HIGH. Check it at 100 yds and it should be pretty close.
