The V16 should be fine.  Several knowledgeable airgun dealers recommend it for use on the more powerful springers.

Simple.  You have a new one in the box read the warrantee.  If it doesn't say it's air rifle approved and it breaks they don't have to honor the warrantee.  I was told by a dealer that the Leupold I put on my Kodiak was OK too.  WRONG.  It didn't last 20 shots and the adjustments were broke.  Leupold told me that it wasn't approved for air rifle use as it wasn’t stated in the warrantee.  Completely different than what the dealer had to say.  I would check it out with Weaver before mounting it on an springer.  Lawdog

Lawdod I have done just that,nowhere in the writings in that v16 does it say iy is Airgun Safe!

Lots of guys use the v-16 on their higher end gun, and they work quite well.  But don't get the idea that just because they are shock-proof that they don't fail.  Theres no such thing as a scope thats totally resistant to the hard recoil produced by a magnum springer, and most will fail sooner or later, no matter how good they are.

 I sure will keep this in mind,you probably feel like I do,nothing is Bullet Froof untill you turn it over to the PUBLIC!

 And there are lot of guys that can tear up an Anvil with a Rubber Hammer!
