I just got an application form in the mail today for the International Blackpowder Hunting Association.  Anyone here heard of them?  Is a membership worth it?  Hows the Magazine?
Never heard of them before, but then again Im still new to BP.

I wonder why they sent you an applicaton?  I have not heard of it but then again the NRA was once a fledgling organization.  I guess it will be as good as it's members.  If you join, I would like to hear about it.

I've been an IBHA member for many years, love their quarterly magazine! $20 a year for membership, used to be $12 when I joined, IIRC. Great magazine, always has articles for everyone from traditional shooters to modern inlines and bp cartridge guns, too. Lots of hunting stories and sometimes 19th century historical hunts. Lots of info for new and old shooters alike. My only complaint is you only get 4 issues a year...  :(

I have been a member for a few years, the magazine is a good read and they send you lots of cool stickers and decals. :D

They are offering a special offer to me of $16 for a year instead of the standard $20.  Guess Ill send it in and see for myself.  Cant hurt  :wink: .
