Got my first Handi---Think I made a good deal
« on: July 23, 2004, 11:19:12 AM »
Got a used Handi in .223 with a Tasco 6-24 mounted on it, and a barrel in 7X57 with a 3-9 Simmons on it. All in great shape, and all for 300.00.  Can't wait to shoot it.

If you got some pet loads for the 7X57 let me know.

Congrats! sounds like you got a nice little set up.  The 223 for varmits and such and 7x57 for bigger critters.  Two of my favorite calibers too.  I'd love to get a 7x57 barrel for one of my handi's I wish they were still available.  Good luck with it and let us know how those barrels shoot.

Taxiderman, sounds like a heck of a deal to me.  I just received a 357 handi and a 44 mag handi and I had to pay 220 each for but thought it was a good deal.

Now I have a RMEF 35 Whelen on the way and with a simmons scope I paid 300 for it including shipping. I felt lucky to find this one. I just hope it shoots cast bullets well since that is what I bought it for.
