Opening Morning

This is opening day of deer season here on Prince of Wales Island (goes til Dec 31). Dropped a nice buck at daybreak with a single shot from a 25/06 Browning B-78. Could have had a second which was standing by watching the whole affair but I`m lazy about having to dress a pair of them. The season is long. I`ll let him fatten up some . What I wanted was fresh meat and I got that. Good luck. POW

Congratulations! :D

Opens the first of Auust over here.  I spent the day prospecting for gold and moose.  Found 4 really great trails too! No gold though.

Dave our general season also opens Aug 1 but they allow island residents a little headstart because we have been so invaded by people from off the island. Its a subsistance allocation as i understand it. Cheers.POW
