:D  Very nice rifle by the looks of it. And I am Happy you can buy one.
For some of us it would also be nice to be able to order one through a dealer .
Davidsons has special runs , and some of us folks to the North , would like maybe to own some of these special rifles. Well cannot be ordered !
I do not really understand why a manufacture would only make , say 5.000 units of a firearm . Do they want to service a collector, or are they shopping to see  "if " the unit will sell?
Your rifle will probably weigh  eight pounds or so with the stainless steel and Laminated stock, which should tame the 270 WSM more than the regular Light weight BLR.
Maybe some day we will be able to order the Laminated stock for ours and we would be happy campers too!
Hope you get years of enjoyment with yours

I am interested in this model/caliber myself.  May I ask what was the retail price of this gun?  How does it shoot?
Thanks in advance,
Rex
