Whats up with the White Buffalo

Whats up with the white buffalo...........why does it have such a signigance to native americans.Do you know of any white buffalos shot during the end of the 19th century................I think one was shot near childress texas in the 1880s.

As I understand the White Buffalo, it holds great religious significance for our Native Americans and indicates (?) a time of peace and properity between Native tribes, amongst other things.

I think one was born either late in the 1980s or early in the 1990s.  And, since then it seems that many native American tribes, especially here in New York, have prospered in their gaming casinos from the white man's greed and have built schools and improved the lives of those in many of the reserved native areas.  Mikey.
