Hey has anyone used a antelope decoy? If so was it on a spot and stalk or water hole. Thanks Slim

I haven't myself, but I have friends that hunt prong horns with decoys quite often.  

The best decoy that they built was cut out of plywood (1-2" I think) and painted to match a buck prong horn.  He put a "kick-stand" on it also.  

When they would locate a large group of does, with a buck tending them, one of them would use the decoy to sneak up on the heard.  Upon seeing the "intruder", the buck would usually come out to run him off.  Key word being USUALLY!!  Sometimes he would just take his girlfriends and run off.  

When he got close enough, the guy behind the decoy would draw his bow, then slowly rise up above the back of the decoy, and make his shot.

Here's a tip.......Always make sure your arrow is going to clear the back of the decoy :-D  :-D   That's a story for another post.
