45-70 Throating
« on: July 29, 2004, 04:53:14 PM »
Some time ago DJ passed around a throating reamer for the 45-70. Just wondering what results folks had with this.

Good question! I'd be happy to know their results as well. I'm on the list, somewhere.

I got a small, but noticable, improvement. It went through about five sets of hands and vanished. I got my money back before it vanished, but I apologise to you on the list. The last guy I know had it was not one of the regulars and it did not seem worth making a fuss about. Might turn up, yet.

Leftoverdj,
I'll apoligize on behalf of the person that now has the reamer. After all the trouble you took to set this up, that is quite a let down. A friend of mine always says no good deed ever goes unpunished, but I know better. Even though I never got the use of it, I do thank you for your effort on our behalf.
Thanks,
Don

DJ, It's quite unfortunate that the throating reamer has been shortstopped by someone on the forum, even if he is not a "regular" poster. Lets just figure out who it is (VERY easy!!!) and lets all send him very kind messages asking him  to continue to forward the reamer. I remember "blanket parties" in boot camp to get "non-conformists" to get with the program. Yes, I may be a "dinosaur" and even from "another time", but as the rednecks and southerners like to say, lets "get-r-done!!!!". If any of you out there are democrats or other such libertarians or socialists who do not believe in "doing the right thing" just send me the name, address and phone number of the miscreant who has stopped the proper transfer of the reamer and I will have the reamer again on it's proper journey. All spoken with a proper love and respect for all of mankind of course....<><....
