Anyone loaded a 95 gr Vmax in a 6.5 X 55?
« on: July 30, 2004, 05:40:19 PM »
Bought some boat tail blems from Midsouth  for plinking but my old manuals don't list data for that light of a bullet.  I'm stuffing Varget in new Norma brass. I found Steve's pages, and the Hogdon sites but there wasn't an exact load for my components. I am hoping someone else has already been this route.   I will be shooting  them in a TC Encore -24" barrel and maybe later with a reduced charge in an original M96 Swede.
Thanks
James

Use the 87-100 grain data...start with the lower load and work-up (which should be common practice anyway...)
