Are the Nikon Premier LX binoculars even close in comparision to the Leica Ultravids or Swarovski Els, in particular the Nikon 8x42's. I really had my heart set on a pair of Leica ultravids 8x50 in green for the upcoming and future deer seasons, but if the Nikon's are really close I can save around $500. Thanks.

8x32 Ventures are probably the best roof prism binos on the planet. The only fault I find with them is weight. They are 4 ounces heavier then competitors in 8x32 and an equal amount on the 8x42's . Beautiful binos. I am buying a pair of 8x32 to replace my 8x42BA Leicas.

Beautiful binos and it is worth carrying around an extra 4 ounces for that kind of sight picture. I am buying a pair of 8x32 to replace my 8x42BA Leicas.
