Accuracy with .280 Handi.

I was wondering if tightening the forestock screw could seriously effect my zero with the scope in my .280 Handirifle. . I'll be going on a hog hunt next week. I don't need a MOA kind of accuracy, just for typical shots at around 50yds or so. Anyone have any experience with this?
