I'm new here so this may have been discussed. I am putting together an Tumbhole Encore Pkg, I will use it for coyotes mostly but occasionally while varmint hunting on the ranch I see a whitetail doe that need out(special Tags) .220 swift has always worked for both but thinking about a 6mm remington or something like that any ideas.

Have found a 6mm-284 barrel guess Im goning into wildcat reloading. :eek:

I think you have the right idea for an all around good gun, Any of the 6mms would do a fine job for you, I am a little partial to the 6mm rem. But all in all they are basically the same. Either one will do just fine. Good luck to ya...........Joe................

Hi i use my 22 250 for coyote hunting and like it and i got a doe tag each yr and i use my 22 250 on my doe tag i have a deer rifle a Rem 300 wby but i like using 22 250 on my doe tag VM
