Is this a good price for a BC 45/70 and a 30-06?

Called my local gun store. They wanted $300 for an Ultra rifle in 30-06 and $340 for a Buffalo Classic in 45/70.

Are these good prices?

$300 is high for the Ultra, got mine for $240 from a gun shop.  $340 is about normal for the BC though.  Some better deals are had but hard to find.  I paid $350 for mine.

Could anyone provide me with a name, number or weblink for any of these places?

One local gunshop I called said they have had three Buffalo Classics on order since May with no luck!!!!!

I would really appreciate it.

I'd check here to see if anyone has one in stock, it's also handy for looking at different firearms.

I've bought several guns and other equipment  from this outfit and have gotten to be good friends with the owner.....prices are not bad either. If he doesn't have it in stock he can get it pretty quick. www.holeinthewallfirearms.com

I can't find his card with his E-mail, but here's a phone # (610) 767-3162. Ask for Allen. I never had to wait for more than a week for any of the H+R/NEF rifles I bought there. Allen does a lot of interstate sales so he should be able to set you up. He always had the lowest prices around here. I thought that $299 for the BC I got was a great price. Cabellas is asking $450 now.
