32-20 Die Set?
« on: August 05, 2004, 07:01:11 AM »
What do you 32-20 shooters use to reload the cartridge?
I called around but it seems that the expander dies are all .312 not .308.
What to do?
Also is it best to use a single stage machine like a Rock Chucker or is a progressive ok?
Thanks!

I use the standard RCBS 32-20 dies to load for mine, I just dont use the expander die. Works well for me.

Pookie - Redding makes a specific die set for it - they are listed as "30-20 TC"

Thanks for the replies, folks!
I found out that the Hornady Die set comes with two expanders, one for .308 the other for .312.
From what I gathered, the expander is the key part.

BTW, I ordered the Hornady set from Midway. I'll post what I think of it when it arrives.
