MARLIN 795SS AND WERE TO GET BIGGER CLIPS FOR
« on: August 05, 2004, 07:11:50 PM »
I WAS INTRESTED IN THE MARLIN 795SS AND  WAS WONDERING IF ANYONR ESLE HAS THIS RIFLE AND HOW THEY LIKE IT? I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW IT COMPARES TO THE RUGER 10/22

sorry for the caps

I had a Marliyn 15yn and I loved that rifle, and still have it. It is so acccurate and also reliable. Would the 795ss be as reliable and as accuarate as the 15yn? What could one expect from accuracy of the 795ss?

The other question I had was can you get higher capacity clips, I would like to repalce the factory  10-shot nickel-plated clip magazine clip with a higher capacity nickel plated clip. Anyone know were I can get them and for how much?

Thanx all. :D

I got my 795 this spring, and love it so far. It shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards, and is very reliable. I do not own a 10/22, and do not like anything that you have to get aftermarket barrels etc to make shoot good. That seams to be the big sales pitch with the 10/22. I like to be different anyway.  I do not know of any high capacity clips for the 795, but a second 10 round clip would be enough for me.
