Hello everyone,
I just put in my order for a factory stainless 7mm-08 barrel.  How many of you use this setup for deer hunting, and what loads do you use?
Thanks.

I don't handload for my Encore 7mm-08 rifle, but out of the factory the only thng that shoots worth a darn are Federal's 140 NBT, 3/4" when I do my part.

Thanks for the info HogFan.  I was wanting to handload a 140 Ballistic Tip or the Hornady 139 SST.

I have had great success using Ballistic Tip 140s over IMR-4350.

I tried the Federal Premiums with out much success insofar as MOA is concerned.  But the Ballistic tips and Partitions with IMR 4350 have been good.

ciscoman14 & longwinters what is your overall cartridge length for your 140gr ballistic tips? ..... i have found that the 154 gr hornady's need to be seated out .070 over the 2.800 spec to get near the rifling on my 7mm08, which improved my groups.
thanks
Craig

I shoot em at 2.850.  Which seems to work ok out of my barrel with 3/4" groups.
