Am looking for a complete action (preferably a No 4 MK1 but others might work) only no barrel (removed not cut off). I prefer any numbers to match and it needs the mag & trigger guard. So basically a gun less the wood and barrel.

I have done some searching on the net but can't find anyone that has these..

Thanks, found these before posting... Looking for an action with the barrel removed so I don't have to fiddle around with that portion of the conversion...

I know this is possibly a long way to get an action from but Jansa Arms here in Australia sells both:

- Mk.III actions with bolt and trigger guard USD$158.08(AUD$225).
- No.4 stripped action USD$32 (AUD$45).

Jansa regularly sell stuff overseas to collectors so they're experienced at shipping. Here's their site:

I just recieved a flyer from Interordnance :eek: and they have No4 MkII British Enfield Recievers in excellent condition for $29.95 if you still are looking for one.
