I'wonder if it was just some kind of cruel joke on those of us that wanted a vent rib and nicer stock. The last time I talked to CS they said they expected them to be in stores by august.

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

Stopped at my local Wally World last week. Had called H&R and got the UPC code. Gave it to the very helpful lady in sporting goods. She called the suppliers and got the only one at SportsSouth. Got here today. Looks good, wood could fit a little better but that's normal for H&R. Figure is not too bad in the walnut. Needed a good cleaning. Mine came with the 3 1/2 inch chamber. (ouch) Will have it out this weekend for a round of trap. Anybody know what brand screw in chokes fit the H&R? Thanks.

H&R, Win, SKB, Mossberg, Browning Invector (Std NOT Back Bored) all will work.

:D dawei is correct. Any choke tube that fits the Winchoke system fits the H&R shotguns (12 gauge at least)....<><....

MSP: they are interchangeable in all the gauges across the board.

Saw one for sale up here in Maine. Used but in great shape for $169. It had a medium nick out of the front of the vent rib (dropped?).

Other than that, nice shotgun with a good feel to it.

Have had one on order for months...still haven't heard from my dealer yet.  When I called the factory back in June, they said they would start production in July.  Who knows??? :?
